Dream a lil Dream

I remembered my dream last night. It felt real. I know it wasn't but I feel it.

After a few years working in Malaysia, I finally went back to Melbourne. I spend all my savings and got myself a visa, a one-way flight ticket and some cash to sustain myself there. I arrived and was greeted by someone I never met before. He had long hair, quite thin, clean look and plays the guitar for a living. He offered me a place to stay. He lives on 5th Floor in some kind of "poorly-looked" apartment with a mini cafe below the building, somewhere near Richmond. Somewhere quite rotten.

In his room, there is 2 single mattresses and one queen size. I took the single nearest to the window. His apartment has only one living room, where the three mattresses lies and a mini shower-cum-bathroom (think of First World Hotel) and no kitchen. Rotten neighbourhood but very well kept apartment. Decided to stay with him. I called him Josh (cos maybe he looked like Josh Groban)

I tried to get online. Reception was bad. Didn't want to spend my money on some Vietnam Cyber Cafe! Tried phone-mobile since Dad is still paying for it ...but I Couldn't contact anyone. Tried reaching for people I know there but the result was quite bad. Tried Vince. Thought he could let me bump at his place instead, but I couldn't reach him. Not even Brian. Couldn't get Lisa, Belinda, Chloe or even Karen. Everyone I know in Melbourne ... seem lost. I gave up on them. Gave up on friends. Decided to be independent.

When I looked out the window, I am very sure it is Melbourne ... there is a view from his apartment. But I am not sure why I left Malaysia in such a hurry. Fell asleep ... in my own dream ... Ironic

I searched for jobs. No one would hire. Everyone prefer their own "nationality" and "people". Prioritize were given according to Color of your skin, the tone you speak and then your nationality. I didn't get any job. Hang around at the cafe most of the time.

In the end, I landed myself a tram driver job ... Earned some cash. Over a period of time, the job got me more money. I send everything I have back home. To who? I am not too sure. Sticked to that job till I was old. Nothing else paid more. That job took care of everything. In return, I looked awful ... I looked like Crap=Shit.

???

What was that about?

Sunshine

After so many days, I finally got to see some sunshine. The dark and black void has passed. There is definitely better days. And I can feel it coming! There is definitely support. I have my close friends to thank. You guys are the best, I would never had recuperate without you guys.

Move on. It's a cycle. and it applies to everything that you do!

By the way, I gotten myself a job! Haha ... Weird working hours, but Nett income. I guess it is not that bad. Moreover, I am going to be busy this year. It would be a tough time but I think I could manage it. What could go wrong? I've got a great companion to share my life burden with, I've got supportive friends who are always there to appreciate and love me and I've got myself a great, serious and fun-loving business partner!

First sincere smile in ages!

Those aside, the puppies next door are doing very well. They still love the drain. But they are bigger and easier to mange now! "Girl-girl" no longer feels intimidated by me. She is very good natured now, allows me to pat her on a while, feed her by hand and roam around her home without any complications. She even allows me to play with her pups. *Yahoo!

By the way, I've snapped a few pictures

Aren't they just adorable? I called them Blackie, Snow White and the other on, CowCow ... Hahaha. Of course, that is not their real name.

I suppose my sunshine is here, time to run, enjoy the scenery and breathe the fresh air!

Superman?

I saved three puppies today. My neighbor's dog (my family call her girl-girl), gave birth to three puppies last week. The puppies are only 1 week old and have no abilities to crawl, bark or such. They only roll around the cold cement concrete to move about. That said, they do have the interest for the drains nearby. Unfortunately, this time, they were stuck in the dry drain again, under the hot sun and were making a whole lot of unpleasant cries for help. Previously, the puppies end up in a wet drain after the rain, but the girl-girl manage to get them out. This time, the mother was lost and left the puppies crying.

I had no choice. I can't stand there and see the puppies roast. Moreover, the puppies are already crawling into the rain hole near the wall. One way in, and no way out. Each puppies cramped through the opening and began suffocating. My heart broke. I had no choice but to fend off the angry mother with an umbrella and carefully pick each puppies from the drain without getting bitten.

Now they are calmly asleep under the shed in my house. Too bad my parents are passive towards dogs. They are not even thrilled by pedigree puppies ... apatah lagi mongrel.

I felt like a superman but I felt bad at the same time. What is going to happen to the puppies??? It is not the first time the puppies are mistreated and my neighbor has no ability to take care of the puppies. Girl-girl was cared by them out of pity. She is always chained, drink water out of a weed,algae-infested tub of water, live under a table and roam around where her shit lies stinking. My family feed her once a while with bones as the carer can't afford to feed her at times. Either than that, she is nothing but an ugly fierce unfriendly mongrel. How are the puppies going to grow up in such environment?

I called SPCA today for solutions. If they were to take the puppies away, they have no choice but to kill the puppies as there are already an increase in unwanted breeds and mongrel population. I understand but I can't help but still feel bad. Did I really "save" the puppies?

Am beginning to think that the puppies would hate me for saving them from committing suicide

Urg - Void

I have not been writing. There are many reasons to it, but I am not keen on sharing. I suppose that part of me prefer to just keep things quiet. Weird huh?

*cough cough*

Believe it or not, for the past few days I really feel down. It’s like everything is wrong. Whatever I do, whatever I think – it’s all wrong. I am not too sure whether it is caused by the Maxis interview, the fact that I am growing up and I feel like a child, the ever gloomy-rainy weather, my friends, me-myself, health issues or even my family’s expectation. I am not sure. I know I feel so lost and empty. It’s like my life has suddenly turned into an empty void. A silent vacuum.

There are so many things running in my head right now and I feel like banging it on the wall. As the result, I ended up sleeping with a headache and waking up with one that is worse than the night before. Maybe I shouldn't think too much ...

I am not too sure what is happening to me. I need to rearrange my thoughts – maybe try to be a little more optimistic and cheerful. Thanks Kenny for accompanying me in the arcade today!

*A HURK ... "*!@$^&!
Gosh – my cough is tearing my body apart

Cheers, Toasts.
The New year arrived. Christmas celebrated. Journey into the 4th Year.

Getting anywhere with it? Too soon to tell ... hopefully somewhere
Maybe a little regretful ... but there are more pros than cons.

I am not sure

Facelift for the blog? Soon, but I think it would only be for the header ... since I have plenty of time.

Wish I grow more flesh this year.

I suppose in a humid and hot Malaysia weather, we do not really need certain stuff from the above list. But I personally think it is essential to have them. You never know when you might just get a chance to travel to London or anywhere else with winter season! Anyway, that's not the point. There is a reason why GQ and Askmen suggest the staples. Go figure! Let's see how many of those items I have.

Selina's wedding

Attended Selina's wedding last night. The wedding was well planned, the food were good and the crowd is supportive and cheerful (even during the "yam seng" ceremony!). Something I hardly experienced in weddings. What to do? Most family members are traditional Chinese-type, where weddings are usually held at restaurants instead of hotels. Anyway seeing Alvin, Janet and Kenny getting drunk last night was a whole lot of fun. Overall, the dinner was enjoyable. I am so happy for Selina and Yean. They looked very happy together and I wish them the best of luck in everything they are about to endure in the future. Seeing them being strong for each other really got me thinking how special a relationship can be and ... can get. I suppose they are right with the saying that "it is not easy to find that special someone. So when you do, appreciate them". That said, those out there who have that special someone - never give up on each other if there is still love and for those who are enduring singlehood - never give up on love.

Best wishes guys

SSA - Skinny Sickness Anonymous

Hi. I am Frustrated A. I have a problem. I am thin and skinny and I cannot put on weight. I do go to the gym and workout. Maybe I am doing the wrong routines but I am very sure I tried building muscles. My arms are small and it looks awful. Think of snowman with tree branches as arms. Not that it is a huge problem but my friends say I should put on weight. I do eat alot and maintain a healthy diet but my weight stays at 65kg. I am not entirely underweight but I think increasing my body mass is somewhat better. Any suggestions either than eating more? Cos I can't afford to drink Eno everytime I try to double my meal!
