33 Ireland St

It's really great because I am living with friends. Grace and Eva has been quite patient with me. I am really noisy, spoiled, playful, not serious, lazy, healthy-living (disallowing them to eat instant noodle for dinner - grace should have more comments on that :P), rather picky on cleanliness and literaltly save alot. So, I spend less on certain stuff. Unlike Grace and Eva - I hardly buy chips, snacks and other utensils. Let's put that aside. I am blogging today because I've just created a sub-blog. It belongs to Grace, Me and Eva. If you didn't notice - Eva and Grace both gave up blogging. So ... I created this blog called 33 Ireland Street - where we are living at the moment; and the blog caters to all our pillow-talk topics.

It's quite amazing. We have talked about marriage, divorce, families, fertility decline, sex, sexuality, judgemental people, friends and some other interesting topic which I think would be quite nice to share with you guys. Of course, we most likely will talk about those topics again in the future. It's quite a different point of view from all three of us - different individuals and different upbringing. We always kind of have disagreement - but that is only within the pillow talk. The blog content will of course be written by all 3 of us. So you get an opinion from different view.

Well ... the blog address is at my link somewhere on the right ... but don't aspect constant updates. If we have pillow talk then there will be new post ... or whenever the girls wanna blog ...

Back to Jazz

I have been listening to Jazz. It's been some time but I think most people do not know... I think Kenny finds it abit weird. He called a few times; and most times I was listening to; Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, George Benson and yada yada yada. Anyhow; he says it was like calling a Jazz pub. Hahaha .. .quite flattering ... but somehow I felt old

I started to ask Eva and Grace some question

A : Eva, am I old?
E : What ???
G : Zzzzz
A : Yah ... I mean, listening to these kinda song ...
E : Excuse me! What do you MEAN by these kinda song??? *diva tone*
A : No la! That's not what I meant! I meant ... listening to classical Jazz
E : I listen to classic Jazz
G : ZZZZZZ
A : You are different ... I mean, you were taught to listen to it
E : Yah ... So?
A : I was taught to listen to Britney and Christina and Mariah and ...
E : Your parents are into those kinda pop?
G : ZZZzzzzZzZzZZZzzzzz

*andrewkin rolls eyes*
A : No! I mean I grew up listening to those kind of music
E : I listen to them too ... but what's wrong with Jazz
A : I am just saying, do you think it's weird for me to like this genre?
E : What's so weird about liking it?
A : Like you know ... it's just not me ...
E : But you said you like Jazz
A : Yah ...

G : ZZzzzzZZzzz
E : You listen to it since some time ago right?
A : Yah ... but do you think it suits me?
E : I am not getting you ...
A : Forget it ... Am I old?
G : No la! Can you just shut up and enjoy Frank Sinatra
E : Yah ... Shut up and listen to him
A : ....

See what happen when you ask blondes and bimbos a simple question ... I think I am living with people who is born in the wrong era ...

My NEW room

Friday afternoon. The weather is about 31C. Still nothing compared to Malaysia's weather but it's considered hot here. The sun is striking its might ... almost burning anyone that goes out the house without sunblock. Grace and Eva are at college. I am at home listening to Buble. They woke up early. I woke up quite late today. Slept at about 5am for 8 hours. Was reading John Grisham and constantly thinking how are all my buddies doing back in Malaysia. Is everyone happy? Is everyone all right? Is everyone healthy?

Anyway - I redecorated my room. I had no choice. I am such a whore for feng-shui and not to mentioned I am not satisfied with my previous room - both the design & ambience.

MY PREVIOUS ROOM
Image hosting by Photobucket

Problems;
1 - I am studying at the wrong direction (feng shui).
2 - I hate sleeping - always end up sleeping on the couch
3 - My books cannot be fitted into the rack. The pigeon-hole is too small
4 - Everything was everywhere
5 - I am just not comfortable with it - simple ...

Then, I asked Grace to help me move my stuff around. She offered me her cupboard because it was bigger, taller and I can put my stuff in it. Since She hasn't got much stuff with her and I had more, we agreed to change our racks. So, I thank her for her courtesy and moved the small rack into her room and move her bigger ones into mine (that doesn't sound quite right *andrewkin laugh)

THE MOVE

I called mum, asked for her advice and found out that I was sleeping and studying at the wrong direction. So, I moved my study table and bed around to accomodate to the feng-shui, mum told me to follow. With the help of our MELWAY, we managed to locate the direction. The move was ... messy

THE NEW ROOM

The difference?
1 - I am facing and sleeping on the right direction
2 - I get ambience lighting - I RIKE !!!
3 - My books finally sits and fit nicely into the rack
4 - More space to roam around
5 - I love the room ... for now *hehe

After almost 2 hours of pondering, cleaning, re-decorating and banging of cupboards; I finally settle down and begin to love my room. Eva loved my new room. She practically jump onto my bed, asked me to close my door and she wanted to just sleep. She was happy! Grace was happy! I was happy!

I know I am such a drama-princess

Grace Birthday

On Sunday;
We went for a BBQ party with Grace's bunch of friends @ Jells Park, which is very far from our home. It is really a huge park with a major huge lake in the middle of it. The tracks are long and there are at least 10 BBQ pits at each section of the park. Many families linger there; the usual stuff - BBQ, picnic, party, food, lawn balls, dog-walking, kite flying, baseballs and you name it! Simple, friendly and lovely outing on a weekend. I am so glad to be invited to the gathering. There is just so much to see and experience.

The BBQ was fun. I had Nasi Goreng finally! A very nice girl brought a whole tub of it. I top-up at least 5 times. Yummy* I've been craving for rice since the day I arrived in Melbourne. Believe it or not; I only had rice one time since we arrived and that was about 4 weeks ago, back the days when I was still living in the city. We don't have a rice cooker and we didn't want to burn our rice, cooking via pot-style; so muah housemates and I decided to wait for Eva's mum to bring one over in a months time. Then, I am going to cook rice everyday! HOORAY! Well, the BBQ party was actually for our dearest Grace.

So, here are the pictures we took that day

Monday;
It actually Grace's big day today! I am so happy for her! She started her day quite badly actually. I wasn't in the best of mood, thus I kept some discomfort to myself and tried to smile everytime when I am in front of her. Being her; she knows something was wrong. I felt bad for her for knowing and don't dare to ask. I knew it wasn't good nor it was fair to her, especially on her birthday. Somehow or rather, I manage to overcome the discomfot and gather the strengh to just put everything behind and live on - thanks to the bath tub which had accompanied me for 2 hours that afternoon. Love it to bits.

Anyway, her day started out badly. Vodafone mixed up our registration many weeks ago. We found all our number and personal details are actually registered to Eva - non to me and Grace. Grace wanted to change her telecomm carrier, so she had to call up Vodafone and terminate her account to transfer her existing number to Optus (Yeah, you can do that!). So, she waited and waited and waited for a very long time which wasted her time and being not able to settle the problem was pretty much annoying. As Eva wasn't with her @ Camberwell, we had to delay the task ... It made her mood bad but she was still looking forward for the dinner.

So ... after a few hours, a messy dressing up session and a wait for late-tram ... we are @ Sofia!

We had dinner at this beautiful, wonderful, well complimented and cheap place; Sofia. The place's portion is so huge! Italians ... Normal for them. The portion is a must-talk about! Do you know that we had to take-away some of our food! We order like 2 main and 1 entree (which was huge as the main!) and the portions are just too much for the 3 of us. One main course can practically feed two person. The picture did not do much justice on the portion; but the plate where the food is sitting can cover my face! I don't know how to say it; but it's huge! The amount of those food; including our drinks (and we didnt order cheap drinks!) came out to less than $50! That's like heaven! One seafood (with like almost 20 prawns and 10 scallops - yeah I counted!) pasta, One huge massive Calamari Rings (which we had to take-away), One Avacado Seafood - Shrimps, Squids, Scallops, Oysters; Iced Choc w ice-cream, Iced Coffee w ice-cream, Fantastic fruity juice, 1 huge jug of water... and not to mentioned the wonderful dessert - Grace's birthday cake! Ahahaha ... small but so fulfilling! ALL FOR 50! wait ... LESS THAN A 50! Man ... that was awesome! We vow to eat there every month! Just like a plain celebration - so grace gets a everymonth DEJA-vu.

Nyek nyek nyek ... She was happy at the end. I love the pictures we had taken. Everyone was well-dressed and was genuinely happy and content. Hopefully we can find another place that is as great for Eva's incoming birthday. Happy Birthday Grace!

Personality Test

I took 2 personality test today;

The result for test one;

What Color are you?
You're green, the color of growth and vigor. Good-hearted and giving, you have a knack for finding and bringing out the best in people. Green is the most down-to-earth color in the spectrum — reliable and trustworthy. People know they can count on you to be around in times of need, since your concern for people is genuine and sincere. You take pride in being a good friend. For you, success is measured in terms of personal achievement and growth, not by status or position. Rare as emeralds, greens are wonderful, natural people. It truly is your color!

The result for test two;

What kind of guy-reader are you?
A Great Guy ReaderYou're so in sync with the signals men send, you might as well have radar! For example, if your date mentions that he's swamped at work as he's kissing you good-night, you'll ask yourself, Why is he choosing to give me this information now, when a guy would normally say, 'Let's go out again'? explains Kevin Hogan, Ph.D., author of The Science of Influence: How to Get Anyone to Say Yes in 8 Minutes or Less!.

And though you may not be aware of it, you also know how to tap into your memory bank to make predictions about a guy's behavior. "You're able to draw connections," says David B. Givens, Ph.D., director of the Center for Nonverbal Studies in Spokane. "So when you see your date's head cocked and wonder if he wants to kiss you, you're able to draw a parallel like, Well, I always see kids cock their heads to the side when they're begging for something, so he may be angling for my affection too."

The same goes for negative behavior. If a dude repeats your name over and over in a convo, you're able to catch it and remind yourself, "Okay, the last time someone said my name this many times, my coworker was telling me a story and clearly power-tripping me." The benefit? You don't waste your precious time with the wrong guy.

I don't know why I took those test ... but I guess it was for fun. Quite true thou, don't you think so? LOL

Picnic

K-Mart lost my bike. I bought a nice Tempas Men Bike (Silver and Red) last 2 weeks and they lost it while I left my bike for them to assemble it for me. Can you believe it ??? It's like buying something from Ikea, left it for delivery and you HAD to call them up (since your purchased didn't arrive) to ask for your status of purchase and they reply you; "Sorry sir, we can't locate your purchase ... I think we lost it" ... I was suprised. They put me through the list to deal with the store manager. The store manager can only get back to me on Tue. I am stunned and I have no idea what I am going to do ...

On the other hand, the girls and me went for our 1st picnic on Sunday replacing the innitial Friday one. Friday was hectic. Many people came over and fixed up the house. We got B/Band finally but no router. Our sink is running well now. The rubbish which was stocking up in our bin was finally disposed and our washing machine which broke down a week ago is now running fine. By the time our house was done, we were too tired to prepare a picnic. Eva and I ended up buying groceries while Grace went for her photography class. It was a sad friday. We slept early and did not go anywhere.

Saturday was nothing much. Sat at home and did homework only

Sunday picnic ... *Hehe* I finally got the time to download, edit and upload the pics!

Image hosting by Photobucket

The picnic bag which we got. Actually, I took it from someone's front yard. They threw it out to be recycle. Most of the people here do that, some "hard-greens" - Jamie, our wonderful-cute landlord told us. People just gather their cupboards, branches, old electronics and those unwanted stuff and stack'em up outside to be taken away. I was jogging, saw it, examine it and took it ... since it was still fine. We love it! (the bag of course, not the taking people's thing part)

Image hosting by Photobucket

We had like French Salad, Mashed Potatoes, Noodles, Crackers with jam, Peaches and Grapes, A bottle of Grape-Apple Juice and a bottle of water and chips. As we munch away, we begin to plan for our next picnic. It was fun & relax. Just the three of us ... hehe

Image hosting by Photobucket

Got back home about 9pm and watched Silence of the Lamb. Eva bought the DVD. It was nice. A very good movie. Nothing in my interest but Jodie Foster was so darn good! Where did she learn to act like that?

Adult @ Bridge Road

Bridge road again ... Shopping is fun! Grace was @ service on sunday morning. Eva and Andrewkin was bored to hell at home. We made some plans, informed Grace about the plans and ended up at Bridge Road again. This time, Eva and I did a long walk from the end of Bridge Rd to the beginning

We went to a place that sells quilt covers and bed sheets but the price was quite expensive. Eva didn't manage to get what she want so we left and headed to the head of the rd. We passed many cafes and restaurants. The cafes and restaurants are wonderful! The designs are so beautiful and classy and some were breath-taking; Usually the concept is open (no walls boundaries or such) and people dining are showing off their cute dogs and expensive handbags, eating away under umbrellas on the street - so the Milan and France! Foods are big in portion and the people dining are just simply spectacular - usually cute and very pretty!

Then, somehow or rather, me and Eva ended up in an Adult Shop that sells; practically SM items; mostly for girls. Don't get any wild ideas - we did nothing but browse through, smiled and learned a few things or two ... nothing dirty or erotica in particular. They were selling "those" costumes; milkmaid, army, moulin rouge, leather wears, army suits, nurses, french maid and many other men's-most-wild-fantasies! Most of them were like a complete set from head to toe - hat, cap, glasses, belt, shoes, heels, boots to even accessories! YES ACCESORIES - like; whips; short ones and long ones, masks, avant-garde linguries, cuffs; both the wild with stripes and furry like those scrunchy; and other sex toys. Think sexy and sensual ...

Then we went into a room that sells ... DILDOs and Books. Most of the dildos has names. White Pearl is about 6-7inch long, with a see-thru materials and has pearls in it priced at $108 with vibration mode, rotation mode, water resistant and with light. *andrewkin giggles

Next on the list was Yellow somethin Banana. Small and nothing interesting. Cheap but no fun for sure unless you have a really small cave.

No3 caught my attention. Blue Mirage. $25. 5-6inch long with vibration only. Not bad ...

No4 was something that appeared on TV before - Sex and The City season 1; something rabbit ... go check :P

No5,6,7,8 went on and on and on and on. It was like a complete collection for dildo whores!

Of course the books comes in 2 types; 1 - Erotic types and 2 - Artistic types. Either way; all category has nude pics of all sorts ... including men, homosexuals, women and whatever your mind can think off. Eva and I wanted to get the Karma Sutra book; which illustrate (get the term right) and tells you every position with details, what to do, what you feel and etc ... and it's only at $21. Ah ~~~~

After that, nothing special happened compared to the Adult Shop we just went to. Yeah we went shopping around; bought some cheap clothes then went to Box Hill and met Grace; and continued to stock up some groceries. Nothing really interesting except for the Adult Shop we went to. Amazingly, Grace is interested in paying a visit. We are so taking her there ...

The next time we are there, damage to our wallet will be done ....

Kenny says;

"Hows class?"

Class was fun. It's very different here. Everything is sistematic, punctual and educational. I am not saying that back in Limkokwing it's not; but in LUCT - lectures tend to be boring and when that happens, you either doze off or just look interested but in actual fact you are just day-dreaming looking as if you are concentrating ( I do that most of the time )

Here, there is alot of interaction and competition. Thus, you just gotta pay attention. Up point - classes are short and sweet. Lectures and Tutorials are only about an hour each. Although so, my sociology tutor told me that; the allocated time for face to face teaching might be short but alot of online work, research and self-education need to be done. In simple terms; if you are a natural hard-working researcher and avid analytical reader; you most likely will score a distinction.

I am so far the only Asian Chinese around classes. Of course that exclude sociology class because there are like at least 300-500 students for that unit. There is a total of of 11 tutorials that are all packed and full. So can you imagine how many people are there in the class. We occupied the one of the largest lecture halls you can find in Deakin.

I need to blog about one class in particular that might interest some of you guys. I enrolled in a unit called; RepresentingMen : Masculinities and Men. Everything in that unit is about men. You learned about men (LIKE DUH!) and their respective topic; cars, sports, media, image, ego, war and what interest me the most is actually; the subject of men and their bodies ... and Queer Masculinities. I read the 1st reader article about it; Men and car culture.

According to that text, men treat their car like women. The speed, The adrenaline rush when you accelerates, the fun when you "drive" a car (where cars are potrayed as WOMEN) and everything else quite heterosexual. YUP. The word they used is HETEROSEXUAL MEN and Cars. Well; that is so un-true. I bet there are HOMOsexuals that like cars too *wink wink* you know who you are! hehe

But yah that class gives me a nudge. As soon as I entered; the girls outwit the guys in number and the gays outwit the straights in number (that includes the lecturer). Am so looking forward for tutorials ... hahaha ... might want to read up more ... just in case; you all know la how bad I am with knowledge about men :P

Well, enough of class.

Friends has been asking me for pictures. I am so sorry that those "pictures" are only available once I get B/Band. I don't wanna bring my pendrive around uploading pics into websites and updating them in school. I promise there shall be a gallery ... muahahaha ... or at least a link to those galleries! muahahaha

Patience ya ...

PS - Deakin offers a whole major in Gender Studies (where you learn about women)
Anyone Interested???
